Régis Le Bris says Sunderland are a more attractive destination this summer, but the club will not compromise on signing the right profiles.

It has been a quiet window, with free agent Thomas Meunier the only addition on a two-year deal, as stability is prioritised ahead of a historic campaign. According to Sunderland Echo, work continues to add a handful of high-calibre players to improve the squad.

Sunderland are pursuing a left back and a right winger, with a left-sided centre back also possible. Le Bris has repeatedly said he wants to add three or four core players before the window closes.
