Régis Le Bris’s Sunderland XI to face Fulham predicted

Régis Le Bris faces one of his most difficult selection calls of the season as Fulham visit the Stadium of Light on Sunday, after mixed injury news at the Academy of Light.

According to Sunderland Echo, Granit Xhaka is back from injury, while Reinildo was ruled out this week for around a month with a knee issue, which could force a reshuffle.

Goalkeeper Robin Roefs is enjoying an outstanding campaign and remains firmly established as first choice.

Nordi Mukiele impressed at centre back at Oxford, but he has been a key part of the league side at right back in recent weeks and is likely to return there against Fulham.

Dan Ballard was rested last weekend. So important in both boxes this season, he should come straight back into the heart of defence.

Omar Alderete also sat out last weekend while a minor foot issue was managed, and he is expected to return to the XI.
