Having come off the bench last week to make his Stade Rennais debut during the 3-2 defeat to OGC Nice, Seko Fofana is expected to make his first start when Les Rennais face Olympique de Marseille on Saturday night.
Former RC Lens midfielder Fofana is expected to start on the left in support of central striker Arnaud Kalimuendo with Ludovic Blas then starting in his usual position on the right hand side. Amine Gouiri and Albert Gronbaek will therefore have to settle for places on the bench. Jordan James, meanwhile, is expected to start in the midfield pivot alongside Azor Matusiwa for Rennes.
Brice Samba is also expected to make his debut. The France international was signed from Lens earlier this week and he is expected to immediately displace Steve Mandanda in goal. Alidu Seidu, out for the season, is the only major absentee for Rennes.
