Crystal Palace are ready to offer €25m for Udinese defender Oumar Solet after Joel Ordonez failed his medical, claim Sport Mediaset.
The Udinese centre-back had been at the centre of numerous approaches during the summer, including from Inter, Milan, Juventus and Roma, plus Leeds United in the UK, but ultimately stayed put.

Now he could be on the move in the final days of the transfer session, because Crystal Palace have stepped up their interest following difficulties for Ordonez.
The agreement had been reached with Club Brugge, but Ordonez had some issues flagged in the medical tests over a broken metatarsal, and Palace are trying to decide whether or not to continue with that deal.

According to Sport Mediaset pundit Orazio Accomando, the Premier League side is looking at alternatives and turned immediately towards Solet.
The €25m offer, if confirmed, would satisfy the Udinese demands and it is likely agreeing personal terms with the defender would also not be too difficult.
Solet is 26 years old and joined Udinese as a free agent in January 2025.
