Report: Three clubs showing interest in Chelsea ace, asking price around €35m | OneFootball

Benoit Badiashile is likely to leave Chelsea this summer with Marseille, Juventus and AC Milan three teams who could be interested according to reports.

Badiashile looked excellent in his first six months at the club after arriving from Monaco in January 2023, and formed a good partnership with Thiago Silva.

However, he’s been plagued by injury issues since, and has struggled to hold down a regular place in the side, and get back to his best form.

Benoit Badiashile likely to leave Chelsea this summer

Badiashile has made 70 appearances since joining the club, but hasn’t been in favour this season, with Trevoh Chalobah and Wesley Fofana clearly the first choice partnership.

The Frenchman has made 15 appearances in all competitions, with just eight of those coming in the Premier League.

There’s expected to be a major reshuffle at centre back in the summer, and Badiashile has been linked with an exit.

However, according to Caught Offside it’s looking very likely the Frenchman will leave Stamford Bridge in the summer.

The report adds Badiashile could be available for around €35m, and AC Milan have carried out background checks, whilst Juventus and Marseille could also be interested.

Frenchman no longer part of the Chelsea project

Sources have told Caught Offside, that whilst the 24-year-old isn’t being forced out of Chelsea, he’s no longer part of the club’s project.

“Badiashile is very likely out of the Chelsea project now,” sources said.

“There has been some interest from AC Milan, albeit nothing that concrete yet, but we can expect to see them and others step up their efforts in the months ahead.

“While I wouldn’t say Chelsea are forcing Badiashile out, they are very much open to offers and would prefer a permanent sale to a loan.

“His asking price will be in the region of €35m.”
