Tottenham are no longer in contention for European places in the Premier League as they are set to face Crystal Palace. With 39 points from 35 games, they are in 16th place, miles away from the expectations at the start of the season. Dragusin, Bergvall and Maddison will be unavailable through injury. Son’s presence also remains in doubt. All of the focus is on the Europa League final. Therefore, the manager is expected to rotate several players in this match without much at stake. The eleven that faces Palace could have several less experienced names, as Spurs look to rest most of the starters.

4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Starting Lineup Against Crystal Palace:

Defence:

In defence, Vicario will continue to start at the back. The backline would be altered considerably. Gray and Spence would occupy the flanks, two full-backs who have not had much continuity. In the centre would be Danso and Davies. Davies brings experience, while Danso brings physicality.

None of the four are considered first choice in the big games, indicating that this match will serve more as a testing ground. The pressure will be low, but the lack of chemistry between them may pull the team down.

Midfield:

In the middle, Bissouma will play as a central midfielder. He will have the responsibility of containing and distributing from the back. Next to him would be Sarr and Kulusevski. Kulusevski will drive and pass between the lines. Sarr would offer physical presence and high pressing.

This trio has not played together much, which raises doubt on how they will perform as a midfield unit. Even so, they have young legs, mobility and a certain versatility that could overrun a Palace team that is not playing much better either. Bissouma will set the pace, but the inside players can get into the box.

Attack:

Up front, Richarlison will lead the attack. Without Son, who could be reserved for the final, the left flank will be left to Odobert. He is quick, direct and fearless. On the right, Tel, another youngster with a lot of flair, would appear. This forward line combines strength, speed and desire. None of them is a good enough passer, but they can press high and look for space on the counter-attack.

Richarlison, in particular, has the character to take on the role of attacking leader.
