Ritsu Doan ‘to join’ Al Ittihad with fee talks ongoing

Ritsu Doan could join Al Ittihad after reportedly agreeing personal terms.

According to Sky Germany, the 28-year-old Japan international has an agreement with the Saudi club worth €9 million a year.

Eintracht Frankfurt and Al Ittihad are discussing a transfer fee, with an €18 million offer said to be on the table.

Doan was left out of Eintracht’s squad for Saturday’s 3-3 draw with 1. FC Union Berlin due to muscular problems.

The winger joined Eintracht from Freiburg in the summer of 2025 for a reported €21 million and now looks likely to depart before the window closes.
