River Plate and Besiktas 'eye' Flamengo goalkeeper Rossi

According to Coluna Do Fla, River Plate and Besiktas are targeting Flamengo goalkeeper Rossi, with the transfer window yet to open.

Besiktas are the only club to have tabled a bid, which arrived at the start of the 2026 season and was immediately rejected by Flamengo.

Even so, the Turkish club remain in the race for Rossi and now face competition from River Plate, who have also shown interest.

Unlike Besiktas, River Plate have not made a move so far. The Argentine side are weighing up whether to submit a proposal, and nothing has reached Flamengo.

Rossi therefore remains available to the Rio club. He is on holiday and is due to report back on 19 June at CT Ninho do Urubu. Flamengo’s next match is scheduled for 22 July against Chapecoense, in the 19th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
