Ro Daal double keeps leaders perfect | OneFootball

AZ 5-2 Go Ahead Eagles in Alkmaar, making it four wins from four to stay top of the Eredivisie.

In the seventh minute Dave Kwakman swept in from outside the box to put AZ ahead. Victor Edvardsen levelled for the visitors (22.), before Ro Daal restored the lead with a fierce strike from range (35.).

After the restart Lewis Schouten added a third from close range following Mateo Chávez's corner delivery (49.). Chávez then bent in a superb fourth from the left side of the box (68.).

Stefán Sigurðarson headed against the bar for the Supereagles (83.), but Daal curled in a fifth high into the far corner (86.) from Calvin Stengs' pass. Mathis Suray pulled one back in the third minute of second half stoppage time.

Kjetil Haug made several smart stops to keep the score down as AZ pressed, while Jari de Busser denied Melle Meulensteen before the early equaliser.

Daal now leads Eredivisie scoring with three goals, first in the chart.

AZ produced 20 attempts and eight corners. The Supereagles managed 10 attempts.
