Rob Edwards eager for Jean-Ricner Bellegarde’s return as Wolves midfielder nears fitness

Rob Edwards is excited by Jean-Ricner Bellegarde’s recovery from injury and believes he would add a strong option to Wolves’ midfield.

Bellegarde, 27, last played on December eight, scoring in the defeat to Manchester United before leaving the field with a hamstring issue.

He returned to the grass last week for individual work as he moves closer to a comeback. During his absence, Wolves have shifted to a midfield three with two number eights.

Edwards believes Bellegarde will suit that system and said he is looking forward to seeing him back. He stressed they cannot rush him, adding that when he does return they want him to stay back.
