Robert Navarro sale raised €850,000, but his exit was different | OneFootball

Real Sociedad’s 2024 sale of Robert Navarro was a different case among Sanse departures. According to Diario Vasco, youth exits have brought almost 11 million to the club.

Navarro had one year left on his deal and did not want to renew, with Take Kubo and Ander Barrenetxea ahead of him in the first team. He scored six goals in the Copa del Rey and Europa League, but in the second half of 22/23 he fell out of Imanol’s plans, prompting a loan to Cádiz in 23/24.

On returning to Donostia a year later, the club learned he would not renew, intending to leave as a free agent in 2025 for Athletic. Real Sociedad sold him to Mallorca for €850,000, and wage savings in his final year took the total value to €1.2m.

From the Sanse side that played in Segunda, five were sold, Lobete, Djouahra, Sola, Olasagasti and Urko González de Zarate. Meanwhile Turrientes, Pacheco, who that season played some games for the B team and had a B squad number, and Karrikaburu are now working under Matarazzo. In Liga Hypermotion, Jon Magunazelaia and Javi Martón are at Eibar, Aritz Aldasoro at Oviedo and Roberto López at Leganés.

Abroad, Jeremy Blasco is in Poland, Iker Kortajarena in Saudi Arabia and Xeber Alkain in Ukraine.

From last season’s Sanse, which stayed in Segunda under Ansotegi, older players are also moving on. Goalkeeper Egoitz Arana has joined Sporting de Gijón and Alberto Dadie is at Burgos, with Mikel Rodríguez at Alavés.
