Roberto Piccoli to Bologna close: €15 million deal nearing completion with Fiorentina | OneFootball

Serie A side Bologna are set to close a deal with Fiorentina soon for the transfer of Roberto Piccoli this summer. 

According to a report by Space Viola, Bologna are nearing an agreement with Fiorentina on transfer fees for the signing of Roberto Piccoli. The two Italian clubs are now negotiating whether the deal will be a permanent transfer or a season-long loan with the obligation to buy.

An agreement could be reached on €15 million plus bonuses for the 25-year-old forward’s sale to the Emilia-Romagna-based side. 

As per an earlier report on Get Italian Football News, Fiorentina have overtaken Premier League outfit Crystal Palace in the race to sign Parma’s Mateo Pellegrino. His signature is set to cost the Viola €20 million, and it is only a matter of time before he is officially announced by the club. 

Pellegrino’s signing could immediately unlock the departure of Piccoli. Bologna and Fiorentina have been in touch with each other since June, and there are a few details that need to be ironed out ahead of the transfer.
