Rocco Zikovic leaves for Hungary

Signs for Nyiregyhaza Spartacus

Rocco Zikovic is making a permanent move from FC Red Bull Salzburg to Hungarian top-flight club Nyíregyháza Spartacus.

The 21-year-old Croatian defender had been in Salzburg since January 2021, playing for the Red Bull Academy’s U16 (6 appearances) and U18 (30 appearances) teams, as well as our UEFA Youth League squad (9 appearances). Zikovic also made 48 appearances (5 goals, 2 assists) for co-operation club club FC Liefering. He spent the last six months on loan in Portugal with Leiria (3 appearances).
