LOSC confirm signing of Maurits Kjaegaard from Salzburg in €6m deal | OneFootball

LOSC have confirmed the signing of Danish midfielder Maurits Kjaegaard from RB Salzburg for about €6m on Tuesday. After completing his medical, the 23-year-old agreed a five-year contract.

Club president Olivier Létang said on the club website that the move is aimed at consolidating the midfield with an intense, pressing profile, adding that Kjaegaard’s versatility across positions is a valuable asset.

The Denmark youth international arrives as a numerical replacement for Ayyoub Bouaddi, who has been sold to Manchester City for €100m.

The agreement with Salzburg was reached on Monday, with the transfer made official the following day.

Kjaegaard becomes the latest addition to the Dogues’ midfield group for the new campaign.
