Roma’s transfer priorities are wingers. Mario Hermoso’s injury isn’t a concern, and signing a defender can wait.
Among the top targets of Frederic Massara and Gian Piero Gasperini is Fiorentina winger Niccolò Fortini.
To sign the 2006-born Viola player, the Giallorossi sporting director has reportedly offered Stephan El Shaarawy—according to Corriere della Sera.
In addition to this, Roma have offered €10 million for Fortini.
According to the newspaper, Fiorentina’s asking price is €15-16 million.
El Shaarawy’s possible move to Florence, linked to the Fortini deal, may not be the only exit from Roma in these final days of the winter transfer window.
Tommaso Baldanzi is ready for Genoa, while Kostas Tsimikas and Leon Bailey could return to Liverpool and Aston Villa, respectively.
