Roma ‘requested information’ on Dan Ndoye as Forest reject late interest | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest have rebuffed late interest in Dan Ndoye as the transfer window closes tonight, with the winger not for sale.

Sport Witness reports that Roma requested information on the Switzerland international in recent days, and Forest signalled he is “untouchable” ahead of the 11pm cut-off.

Head coach Oliver Glasner rates Ndoye, starting him in Forest’s opening two Premier League matches. He also featured from the bench against Leeds United in the Carabao Cup.

Ndoye has been first choice alongside Morgan Gibbs-White in the two No.10 roles. He was quiet against Leeds on the opening day, then impressed on Saturday. He opened the scoring at Anfield in a 2-2 draw with Liverpool, and Gibbs-White also converted a penalty.

Forest signed the former Bologna player 12 months ago for about £34 million after a difficult first year in English football sparked early-summer speculation. Before representing Switzerland at the World Cup, he said he was proud of the season, focused on the tournament, would see what followed, and that he is contracted at Nottingham until 2030.

While Ndoye appears set to stay, outgoing business is possible today. Morato and Zach Abbott are close to loan moves to West Ham United and Southampton respectively, and Arnaud Kalimuendo could depart amid interest from Eintracht Frankfurt and Como.
