Roma have already signed Mile Svilar and Nemanja Matic in the summer. Now, their eyes have turned towards the likes of Davide Frattesi and Zeki Celik.
As reported by Gianluigi Longari, Roma have decided to include Felix Afena-Gyan in a potential offer for Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi. Jose Mourinho’s side has emerged as one of the keen admirers for the midfielder this summer.
Sassuolo is determined to keep hold of the youngster, who had an inspiring season with the Neroverdi last term. Operating in a double pivot, the 22-year-old ended up playing 36 matches in Serie A. He also racked up four goals and four assists, giving birth to the assumption that he could be the next big thing in Italy.
It was reported previously that Sassuolo had rejected an offer of €15 million from the Giallorossi around for Frattesi. The player is bound to Sassuolo’s terms until June 2026, and that’s why the Emilian club has room to ask for a substantial fee in return for the midfielder’s permanent services.
It is understood that Tiago Pinto has been continuously making contact with the player’s entourage and the Sassuolo officials. The introduction of Felix Afena-Gyan could be the missing piece of the puzzle.
