Roma released the following end-of-the-year message, thanking their supporters.
“The Olimpico once again stands out as one of the best-attended stadiums in Italy, especially when Roma play. The credit goes to our fans, who in 2025 set a record for attendance at its current capacity, and this calendar year featured 15 of the 76 sold-out matches under the current ownership. In addition, Tre Fontane was the most attended stadium in the entire Women’s Serie A.
The spectacle of thousands of yellow and red flags in the stands on 6 March during the first leg of Roma’s Europa League round of 16 match against Athletic Club is certainly the image that will define 2025.
It is a year that began with a sold-out 2-0 derby win on 5 January, followed by eight more sold-out games, culminating in the match on 18 May against Milan. This was also a victory to remember, along with Claudio Ranieri’s final official appearance in front of his home crowd as coach, setting a still-unbeaten attendance record at the Stadio Olimpico at its current capacity. For the occasion, 68,143 fans, as always belted out our anthem “Roma Roma Roma,” a resounding performance which was recorded for the B-side of the recently released vinyl reissue.
With Ranieri moving on and Gian Piero Gasperini taking over the reins, the team carried on from where they had left off: six more sold-out matches against Bologna, Torino, Verona, Inter, Napoli and Genoa. And the best is yet to come.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Roma fans who have passed through the turnstiles of the Stadio Olimpico 1,561,950 times in recent months to make their presence felt, support the team and make our 2025 more special!
We would also like to extend our gratitude to Roma Women’s fans, who, thanks to their faithful support at Tre Fontane, have made it the stadium with the highest attendance in the Women’s Serie A.”
