Sadibou Sané set for Monaco medical ahead of transfer from Metz

According to L'Équipe, Metz defender Sadibou Sané is set for a Monaco medical this week before finalising his transfer.

The move, in the works for a month, is expected to be confirmed in the coming days once the 21-year-old completes his tests.

Metz will receive seven million euros plus a further three million in achievable bonuses, and Sané is set to sign a five-year contract.

ASM aimed to make a sale first, with Caio Henrique’s switch to Ajax progressing towards 13 million, including three in bonuses, and 25% of any future resale.

The Senegalese defender came through Génération Foot before joining Metz, and is now poised to play for Monaco.
