AS Saint-Étienne have been busy this summer as they prepare for their first campaign back in Ligue 1 since being relegated in the 2021/2022 season. Saint-Étienne have already secured the signatures of four players with Yunis Abdelhamid (36), Ben Old (21), Zuriko Davitashvili (23), and Augustine Boakye (23) joining the club.
However, the promoted side’s business looks far from over with Foot Mercato reporting that Les Verts have approached Malmö FF over their interest in Sebastian Nanasi (22). The French outlet writes that Nanasi is interested in joining Saint-Étienne. However, they note that Les Verts are yet to formalise their interest and provide the Swedish club with an opening offer.
Nanasi’s performances for his club side have earned him a reputation as a young and promising talent capable of playing in multiple positions as a creative midfielder or forward. In 2023, his potential was recognised by the Swedish national team who provided him with his debut against Finland. A year later, Nanasi capped his third appearance for his national side with a goal against Estonia.
