Manager Erik Horneland announced during his pre-match press conference before ASSE face PSG this weekend, that Boakye “underwent surgery during the international break. He’ll be out for the rest of the season.” It comes as a blow for Sainté, who are still looking to secure their future in Ligue 1 in the final eight games that remain. Les Verts welcome Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday evening, but they’ll be without their midfielder who scored three goals in January to help keep the club in the race to stay up.
