Santi Cazorla sends ‘thank you’ message to Barcelona star after La Liga clash | OneFootball

Spanish football icon Santi Cazorla sent a message of gratitude the way of Barcelona star Pedri on Thursday night.

This of course comes after the pair locked horns on the pitch.

Barcelona made the trip to the Estadio Carlos Tartiere on Thursday night, for a La Liga meeting with Real Oviedo.

When all was said and done, the visitors emerged on the right side of a 3-1 result.

Both Cazorla and Pedri, meanwhile, featured from the off in the fixture.

Separated by a full 18 years in age, the pair are considered a current legend and one in the making amongst fans across Spain.

Such supporters, in turn, will no doubt be delighted to learn of a post-match message sent to Pedri by Real Oviedo’s 40-year-old engine room icon.

Taking to his official Instagram account in the game’s aftermath, Cazorla wrote:

“Simply thank you for your football, friend. Make us, lovers of this sport, continue to enjoy it.”
