Santos have agreed a contract extension with 18-year-old right-back Davizinho, who made his senior debut this year and has been used by coach Cuca.
Globo.com reports that the new deal runs until July 2031 and includes a 100 million euro release clause, roughly R$ 600 million at current rates.
The renewal comes three months after he signed his first professional contract, and it also raised his domestic release figure. His previous agreement had been due to expire in January 2029.
The agreement was sealed last Thursday, hours before he started against Macará in the Copa Sul-Americana. The match finished 0-0 and Santos advanced to the quarter-finals.
Talks were handled by the club’s hierarchy with agents Giuliano Bertolucci and Lecca de Camargo. Davizinho joined Santos aged 15 after impressing at Boavista in Rio de Janeiro, and he has since converted from forward to full-back.
Santos are next in action on Sunday, hosting Mirassol at Vila Belmiro in the Brasileirão.
