Santos ‘in talks to sell’ JP Chermont to Ajax

Santos are in talks with Ajax over selling right-back JP Chermont, according to the Lucas Musetti channel.

The Dutch club have indicated a bid worth four million euros, around R$ 24.86 million, while Santos want at least six million, roughly R$ 37.2 million.

Chermont, 20, was a starter during Santos' 2024 Série B campaign but lost his place last season and returned to the under-20s.

This year he played in the Copinha before gaining further chances with the first team under Vojvoda.

He was named in the squad for Wednesday's match against Chapecoense but remained on the bench.
