Santos include Arthur and Lima in squad to face Internacional | OneFootball

Santos have named their squad to face Internacional in the 26th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, with new signings Arthur and Lima included and in line for debuts. According to Diario Do Peixe, the list was released on Saturday.

Both arrivals were completed this week and the pair are registered with the CBF. Lima, unveiled on Friday, took part in his first session with the group before travelling to Porto Alegre. Arthur also trained with the squad.

The match is on Sunday 6 at 16:00 Brasília time at Beira-Rio.

Goalkeeper João Paulo is a notable omission. Recent weeks brought talk of a possible return to the starting role, but he has not been selected by Cuca.

The goalkeepers named are Diógenes, Gabriel Brazão and João Pedro. As Santos usually travel with three keepers, one will be cut from the final match list.

Defenders: João Alencar, João Ananias and Luan Peres. Full-backs: Davizinho, Escobar, Gabriel Menino and Igor Vinícius.

Midfielders: Arthur, Christian Oliva, Gabriel Bontempo, Gustavo Henrique, João Schmidt, Lima, Miguelito, Rollheiser, Samuel Pierri and Willian Arão.

Forwards: Caballero, Gabriel Barbosa, Rony and Thaciano. Santos are 14th with 29 points and want an away result to pull clear of the relegation zone.
