Santos name 22-player squad for Bahia trip | OneFootball

According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos have named a 22-player squad for Saturday’s trip to Bahia, kick-off 18:30 at Arena Fonte Nova, in the 13th round of the Brasileirão.

Goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão, who returned to training on Thursday after his father’s passing, has chosen not to travel. Right-back Igor Vinicius, midfielder Gustavo Henrique and forward Gabriel Barbosa are suspended for a third yellow card.

Attacking midfielder Neymar Jr and midfielder Willian Arão will be rested from the trip by the club. Midfielder Zé Rafael is recovering from an ankle sprain sustained against Coritiba, and Gabriel Menino remains in transition after an injury to the back of his right thigh.

There are also call-ups for youngsters João Ananias, Rafa Gonzaga and Mateus Xavier, while forward Rony returns after ankle pain.
