Santos name Velo squad with Arão, Gabigol and Neymar back | OneFootball

Santos have named a 23-man squad to face Velo Clube on Sunday, with Arão, Gabigol and Neymar returning. According to Diario Do Peixe, the club released the list ahead of the eighth-round tie at Vila Belmiro.

Kick-off is at 20:30 on Sunday 15. The squad comprises two goalkeepers, three centre-backs, three full-backs, eight midfielders and seven forwards.

Neymar Jr is available after arthroscopy. Midfielder Willian Arão is fit again following a calf injury and kidney stone removal. Gabriel Barbosa was rested in the last Brasileirão round against Athletico-PR.

Right-back Igor Vinicius is suspended after his third yellow card. Centre-back Adonis Frías has a right calf injury. Midfielder Zé Rafael is recovering from patellar tendinitis.

Named players include goalkeepers Gabriel Brazão and Diogenes, and centre-backs Zé Ivaldo, Luan Peres and João Ananias. Also selected are full-backs Mayke, Escobar and Vini Lira, and midfielders Willian Arão, João Schmidt, Gustavo Henrique, Gabriel Menino, Gabriel Bontempo, Neymar, Rollheiser and Miguelito. The forwards are Barreal, Rony, Moisés, Robinho Jr, Gabigol, Thaciano and Lautaro.
