Neymar, Gabigol and Arão named in Santos squad to face Velo Clube | OneFootball

Neymar, Gabigol and Willian Arão have been named in Santos's squad by coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda to face Velo Clube on Sunday at Vila Belmiro, kick-off 20:30, in the final round of the Campeonato Paulista group stage, according to Globo.com.

The trio return as Peixe need a win over the Rio Claro side to keep alive their chances of reaching the second phase.

Neymar has not played since seven December against Cruzeiro in the Brasileirão. After helping Santos avoid relegation, the number 10 underwent surgery on his left knee and has not featured in 2026.

Willian Arão has been out since 25 January, having faced Bragantino that day. He subsequently required kidney surgery.

Gabigol was rested for the match against Athletico in Curitiba because of the synthetic pitch at the Arena da Baixada.
