Santos have organised a slate of supporter activations on the Brazil-Paraguay border ahead of Tuesday’s Copa Sudamericana match against Recoleta at 21:30.
According to Diario Do Peixe, the delegation were greeted by a large crowd at Ponta Porã airport, then mobilised fans in Pedro Juan Caballero, the host city.
The match, initially slated for Asunción, was moved to the Monumental Río Parapití because of its proximity to Brazil and the potential to attract more Santos fans. Tickets have been sold out since last week.
The club’s schedule includes activations for members and the general public, aiming to expand its brand presence outside the country and to create touchpoints with supporters during the visit.
Planned actions feature mascot meet-and-greets, promotions by the Santos Store, and initiatives at strategic locations across the region. The drive is part of a strategy linked to the Sócio Rei programme and to strengthen ties with the fanbase at away games.
