Santos have updated their Copa Sudamericana squad, adding new arrivals Rodinei, Arthur and Lima, making them available to coach Cuca. According to Diario Do Peixe, the trio were registered this week.

The moves came after the club had a FIFA transfer ban overturned over a debt to Monaco linked to the signing of Jean Lucas.

Arthur has been training with the squad since the start of the week and is expected to be named for Sunday’s match against Internacional in the Campeonato Brasileiro. Lima met his new team-mates on Friday, while Rodinei arrived in Brazil on Saturday.

Santos face Atlético-MG in the Sudamericana quarter-finals. The first leg is on Wednesday at 19h, Brasília time, at Vila Belmiro. The return is on 16 September at the same time at Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte.

Arthur will wear six, a number already set by the club. Rodinei has been registered with 23, the shirt he used at Olympiacos in Greece, while Lima will take 45, as he wore at Ceará. Arthur is under contract until December.
