Santos resume with Neymar and new signing as Robinho Jr. trains after impasse | OneFootball

Santos returned to training on Tuesday with Neymar on the pitch, beginning preparations for the 10 fixture against Mirassol at the Maião stadium, part of the fifth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

According to Globo.com, coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda oversaw technical and tactical work with the full squad, including Robinho Jr., who had been at the centre of an impasse between the club and his camp in recent days.

His inclusion had been planned by the staff, who expected him back with the first team after a suggestion to send him to the under-20s for the weekend round.

Midfielder Christian Oliva, announced on Saturday, completed his first full session with team-mates. The Uruguayan had already been doing on-pitch work with the group for more than a week.

Santos now await the arrival of defender Lucas Veríssimo, confirmed as a signing on Tuesday. He is in Qatar, which is under an emergency situation amid the conflict in the Middle East.

The team will train again on Wednesday afternoon at CT Rei Pelé.
