Santos could welcome back three players for Sunday’s trip to Internacional in the 26th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, 16:00 Brasília time, at Beira-Rio.

According to Globo.com, right-back Gabriel Menino, midfielder Gustavo Henrique and playmaker Pepê Fermino have shaken off physical issues and trained with the group at CT Rei Pelé.

Menino sprained his left knee against Macará-EQU in the Copa Sul-Americana round of 16 first leg, missing the last six games.

Gustavo Henrique felt pain in his left thigh and was replaced in the league derby with Corinthians on Sunday, then sat out the Copa do Brasil meeting with Palmeiras.

Pepê Fermino had been sidelined since a right thigh injury in July’s friendly with União São João, after the World Cup pause. The 19-year-old is a Cuca bet and should get chances in the coming weeks.

Friday morning’s session featured physical work and a tactical drill.

Cuca cannot call on Lucas Veríssimo and Barreal through suspension, and both were also withdrawn against Palmeiras on Wednesday, the defender with a sore left ankle and the forward with left thigh discomfort.

Neymar is likely to be another absentee after right thigh pain, and is undergoing tests on Friday.

Probable Santos: Gabriel Brazão, Igor Vinícius, Willian Arão, Luan Peres, Escobar, Gustavo Henrique, Christian Oliva (Arthur), Gabriel Bontempo, Rony, Caballero (Miguelito), Gabigol.
