São Paulo v Santos set for Friday as postponed Brasileirão fixture | OneFootball

With the club calendar paused for the FIFA window, the CBF is using the break to clear a backlog. According to Coluna Do Fla, São Paulo host Santos on Friday in a rescheduled Brasileirão fixture.

Kick-off is at 20:00 Brasília time at Estádio Morumbis. SporTV and Premiere will broadcast the match nationwide.

São Paulo are seeking breathing space after beating Internacional 1-0 at Morumbis on 19 September, their last outing. Dorival Júnior’s side have lost only two of 13 home league games and sit 11th on 36 points.

Santos are looking upward after four straight Brasileirão wins. They defeated Remo 2-1 in the previous round, and Cuca’s team are eighth with 38 points.

Both clubs have a game in hand on most rivals. With the lower half congested, victory in the San-São could set up a calmer run-in for whoever secures the points.
