Sasa Kalajdzic produced a standout performance for LASK against Hartberg. According to Molineux.news, the on-loan Wolves striker is due to return to Molineux soon.

He has been on loan since the start of the season to get back on track after injury. A second serious knee injury at Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023/24 wiped out the following campaign.

In 2026 he has found his feet, scoring in three straight league games. He then drew a blank against Sturm Graz.

He then struck twice against Hartberg, the second a halfway-line effort in the 95th minute, the game's final goal.

He also registered an assist, his fourth of the season in all competitions.

Kalajdzic’s Wolves stint has been blighted by two ACL injuries. He joined in 2021, has only 16 first-team appearances, and is out of contract next summer. Wolves have been relegated, so it is the Championship next season.

With Tolu Arokodare highly likely to be moved on after a bust-up with Mateus Mane, a new striker will be needed. His form may mean he could contribute in the second tier, although his injury record means Wolves might listen to offers. If no offers arrive and he stays, there is hope he can finally make a sustained impact for Wanderers.
