Toulouse beat Metz 4-3 at Stade Saint‑Symphorien thanks to Mário Sauer's winner in the ninth minute of second half stoppage time, lifting the visitors to 11th while Metz remain 18th.
Aron Donnum opened the scoring in the sixth minute, drilling in from range. Yann Gboho doubled the advantage (14.).
Metz hit back as Nathan Mbala swept in (30.), then Koffi Kouao glanced a header to level (31.). Guillaume Restes kept Toulouse in front with sharp first half saves, before Gboho restored the lead in the third minute of first half stoppage time.
After the restart a Bouna Sarr handball prompted a check (55.). VAR then decided no penalty for Metz (58.). Soon after, Restes went off injured and Kjetil Haug came on.
Giorgi Abuashvili equalised late on (88.). Nine minutes of added time were indicated at the end of the second half, and Sauer pounced to win it in the ninth minute of second half stoppage time from Donnum's cross.
