SC Freiburg appear open to letting Noah Atubolu join Eintracht Frankfurt if their price is met.

With a Premier League move this summer looking increasingly unlikely, Freiburg are weighing alternatives for the wantaway goalkeeper, and Frankfurt are considering him as a new first-choice. Bild reports that head coach Julian Schuster regards Frankfurt as a major German club and accepts it could be an option for Atubolu to become their goalkeeper.

It remains unclear whether the clubs can strike a deal. Freiburg are said to want 15 million, while one suggestion is a one-year contract extension to 2028 followed by a loan.

For now, Atubolu will have to wait and focus on staying fit. Schuster said the club remain in regular contact and will integrate him into training accordingly.

He added it is their responsibility to manage the workload of contracted players and ensure he trains to operate at a new level.
