Andreas Schjelderup is expected to leave Benfica in the winter window, but he is unconvinced by Parma’s loan proposal.
Nicolò Schira reports that the Norway international has shown little interest in joining the Serie A club, which has already made a formal loan offer to Benfica.
A move away remains the best solution for the Norwegian, since staying could reduce his opportunities under José Mourinho, amid rumours of a possible agreement between Benfica and Rafa Silva.
Roma have also shown interest, where former Benfica goalkeeper Mile Svilar plays, making it another potential destination this winter for the number 21, who wants to make Norway’s 2026 World Cup squad.
This season Schjelderup, valued at 14 million euros, has made 22 appearances for Benfica, 11 in Liga Portugal Betclic, six in the Champions League, four in the Taça de Portugal and one in the Taça da Liga. He has played 985 minutes, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
