Germany and Spain continued winning starts to the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup while the USA secured their first points.
Group C: Spain 2-0 Paraguay, Morocco 0-2 USA
Group D: Germany 3-1 Nigeria, South Korea 0-0 Venezuela
A first-half brace by Jone Azemaga saw Spain make it back-to-back wins in defeating Paraguay.
USA got off the mark with victory over Morocco, Yuna McCormack with a 48th-minute breakthrough and Maddie Dahlien with the second in stoppage time.

Germany made it two wins from two, despite having been pegged back by Nigeria at 1-1. Alara Sehitler’s opener was replied to by Chiamaka Okwuchukwu, before Sofie Zdebel restored the lead just after the hour mark and Sarah Ernst sealed the win in added time.

South Korea and Venezuela both registered their first point following a goalless draw.
