The Serbia vs Turkey UEFA Nations League match will be broadcast live online and on TV as the Eagles host the Cresent-Stars at Red Star Stadium this Sunday, September 6, at 11:45 a.m. Pacific.
Serbia began the Nations League with a very disappointing 3-1 loss to Russia away from home. Fulham striker Alexsandar Mitrovic scored the lone goal for the Eagles in a game where more was expected from Serbia.
Ljubiša Tumbaković still has a very well-balanced roster with players like Mitrovic, Sergej Milinković-Savić and Dusan Tadic. Serbia struggled for offensive production in that game against Russia and this game will not be easy as Turkey also has a solid backline.
Turkey also began the Nations League with a loss as the Cresent-Stars lost 1-0 to Hungary in what was a very hard-fought match. Like Serbia, Turkey also has a well-balanced squad as this is set to be a very entertaining match.
Players like Burak Yilmaz and Hakan Çalhanoğlu struggled to generate offense in that match against Hungary and will need to be more effective. The defense is Turkey’s strongest component with the centre-back partnership of Merih Demiral and Çağlar Söyüncü of Leicester City as they will need to be effective against a talented Serbia team.
