Sereias da Vila extend Isa Cardoso contract to 2027 | OneFootball

Sereias da Vila have extended defender Isa Cardoso’s contract until December 2027, with full-back Leticia Santos and forward Carol Baiana also signing new terms. According to Diario Do Peixe, the deals have been confirmed.

Cardoso’s previous agreement ran until the end of the year, and the anterior cruciate ligament injury meant the club would have had to renew.

She sustained the ACL injury in a 1-0 defeat to São Paulo on 13 August, in round six of Paulista F, at Gabriel Santana de Marques in Santana de Parnaíba. She started the match but was forced off after eight minutes, later lamenting the setback on social media.

Signed in January, Cardoso made four appearances in the state competition and scored once in nine Brasileiro A-1 matches. She turns 29 in December.

Born in Campinas (SP), Isabela Martins Cardoso began playing at eight and, at 18, moved to the United States college system to study Business Management, representing FNU Conquistadors and Northern Michigan University.

On returning to Brazil, she spent two seasons with Athletico Paranaense, then joined Nacional (Uruguai) in 2025, where she won the Uruguayan championship.
