Sereias da Vila sign left-back Katrine on deal to end of 2027 | OneFootball

Sereias da Vila have signed left-back Katrine on a deal to the end of 2027, their sixth addition of the season alongside goalkeepers Taty Amaro and Mayara, full-back Leticia Santos, midfielder Yoreli Rincón and forward Eudimilla, according to Diario Do Peixe.

The 27-year-old played at the U20 World Cups in 2016 and 2018 and received her first senior Brazil call-up in 2021. She has turned out for Corinthians, Audax, Internacional, Grêmio, Minas Brasília and Palmeiras, most recently at Internacional since 2024.

She described joining the Sereias as a long-held dream, recalling an early chance to attend a club trial that did not materialise. She said she hopes good things happen and to be happy there.

Head coach Caio Couto has renewed and, alongside women’s football coordinator Thais Picarte, overseen more than 15 contract renewals. Players already tied down include Pardal, Ingrid Avancini, Rafa Martins, Leandra, Nath Pitbull, Giulia Giovanna and Thaisinha. Extensions include goalkeepers Stefane and Michelle, defenders Ana Alice and Sara, plus a group of full-backs, midfielders and forwards.

There have been eight departures, Ágatha, Aghata, Karen Hipólito, Raissa Calheiros, Livia Mathias, Leidiane, Júlia Daltoé and Marussi. The club is expected to announce midfielder Vívian. The Sereias return to Brazil’s top tier, with Brasileiro A1 scheduled for 15 February to 4 October and the Copa do Brasil from 22 April to 15 November.
