Sevilla have prioritised the signing of Real Zaragoza winger Adrián Liso as they look to add pace and end product in attack.

Matteo Moretto reports that the Andalusian club have accelerated contacts in recent hours to advance a deal, with Liso also admired by Rayo Vallecano, Levante UD, Valencia CF, and Italian sides Parma and Venezia, while the player currently favours staying in Spanish football.

Heraldo de Aragón revealed that Getafe CF moved first to keep Liso after his loan, holding a three million euro option for 50% of his rights, but their opening bid, at half that figure, was rejected by Zaragoza, indicating the likely level Sevilla would need to meet.

Liso’s departure from La Romareda has become probable following Zaragoza’s relegation to Primera RFEF. The 20-year-old academy product impressed in his Primera División debut season at Getafe, playing 31 matches with three goals and three assists.

Standing 1.82 metres, he is noted for ball-carrying speed, a sharp change of pace and a powerful shot from range, and can also operate as a centre-forward, traits that threaten defences in transitions and one-on-one situations.

Sevilla confirmed the arrivals of midfielder Jon Guridi and full-back Juan Iglesias last week, with Arouna Sangante expected soon. The club are then set to target a new goalkeeper and an attacker, and Liso appears to have emerged as the leading option.
