Sheffield United are hoping to sign Kalvin Phillips on loan until the end of the season according to reports.

The former Leeds United man has struggled at Manchester City having spent half of the 2023/24 campaign at West Ham United and last season on loan at Ipswich Town.

This season, Phillips has only made a brief cameo appearance for the Citizens in a League Cup away to Huddersfield Town back in September.

The Blades are looking to sign the 30-year-old until the end of the season which could see City continue to pay a share of the midfielder's wages.

Phillips has played just 32 games in total for City since his £42-million move from Leeds in 2022.
