According to Globo.com, Sosa felt pain in his left thigh on Saturday and is a concern for Palmeiras ahead of their next fixtures.
The Paraguayan forward came on at half-time against Fluminense at the Maracanã, then was taken off on 33 minutes of the second half after complaining of an issue in the back of his left thigh.
He left the pitch limping and was replaced by Felipe Anderson.
He will be re-evaluated by Palmeiras' medical staff on the squad’s return to São Paulo, with the team flying home on Saturday night.
Palmeiras are back in action on Wednesday with a decisive Conmebol Libertadores trip to Paraguay’s Cerro Porteño, with a quarter-final place at stake.
