Southampton, Millwall and Hull have long-standing interest in Tottenham youngster Tyrese Hall, who could be recalled from Notts County.
Southampton, Millwall and Hull City are amongst the sides with long-standing interest in Tottenham starlet Tyrese Hall, who could be recalled from his loan spell with Notts County this month and sent out to the Championship.
The Championship trio are all vying to land a play-off spot come the end of the season, albeit the Saints are currently in 15th place, whereas the Lions and Tigers sit in fifth and seventh place, respectively.
Successful business in the January transfer window could give both Millwall and Hull the upper hand over fellow top-six chasers such as Preston North End and Stoke City.
Meanwhile, the congested nature of the Championship table means that Southampton are just eight points adrift of the play-off places despite currently occupying a bottom-half spot.

Hall has enjoyed a successful loan spell with Notts County so far this term, notching five goals and one assist in 17 League Two appearances.
Meanwhile, The Sun revealed on Wednesday that Spurs have discussed recalling the 20-year-old from the fourth-tier club to assess him in first-team training.
The report adds that Championship and League One clubs, including Southampton, Millwall, and Hull, have long-standing interest in the attacking midfielder.
Partly thanks to Hall's efforts, Notts County sit eighth in League Two, just one point behind the play-off places, despite failing to win any of their last four games.
According to The Sun, there had been doubts over how Hall would adapt to senior football, but those fears have been alleviated by his positive form with Martin Paterson's side.

Hall has proven his creativity in League Two, as his efforts have helped propel Notts County into serious play-off contention.
Contrastingly, the youngster's parent club, Tottenham, have lacked sparkle in the Premier League in recent weeks, and are now 14th in the top flight after being beaten 3-2 by Bournemouth on Wednesday.
However, Hall never made a senior appearance for Spurs before joining Notts County on loan last summer, and could struggle to adjust to the Premier League, even if the North Londoners are short on midfield options.
Therefore, it could benefit the 20-year-old's development more if he went on loan to a Championship club such as Southampton, Millwall, or Hull.
Hall, who was previously likened to both Luka Modric and Joe Cole by ex-Spurs frontman Jermain Defoe, has long been hailed as a future star in the making, and his best chance of making the grade in North London may come by obtaining experience as part of a competitive second-tier side.

The Saints could prove to be a particularly fruitful destination for Hall, as Tonda Eckert's men need extra quality and inspiration to ensure that they can reignite their play-off chase following a six-game winless streak in the second tier.
Hall's impressive football education at Tottenham, coupled with his strong performances for Notts County, also suggests that either Millwall or Hull would bolster their play-off credentials by landing the 20-year-old's signature.
For now, Championship clubs are concentrated on negotiating their way through their respective FA Cup third-round ties, but the battle for places in next season's Premier League resumes next weekend.
Intriguingly, two of the interested parties in Hall, Southampton and Hull, face each other in a second-tier encounter on Saturday, 17 January.
