Luciano Spalletti wants another striker despite the summer arrivals of Nick Woltemade and Randal Kolo Muani, and he is targeting a forward from the Premier League.

The Juventus manager is working to get the best from Kolo Muani and Woltemade and believes both players can perform well with time. However, he also wants another attacking option to strengthen the squad and improve the team’s goalscoring threat.

Juventus have been following Brian Brobbey for some time and were linked with a move for him during the summer, although the transfer did not happen. The Bianconeri have continued to monitor the Dutchman and have made him one of their most important targets, but they were waiting for Spalletti to approve the move.

Spalletti Approves Brobbey Move

Calciomercato reports that Spalletti has now given his approval. The manager believes Brobbey, who plays for Sunderland, would be an excellent addition to his squad if Juventus can complete a deal for him.

The club are working to build a team capable of competing at the highest level, and they could contact Sunderland during the next transfer window to discuss a potential move. Brobbey’s arrival would give Spalletti another option in attack and increase competition among the club’s forwards.

Juventus already have Kolo Muani and Woltemade available, but Spalletti appears to believe that the squad would benefit from adding another striker. Brobbey’s profile has therefore made him a priority target.

Sunderland Could Resist

Sunderland are an ambitious club and are unlikely to make negotiations easy for Juventus. They may want to keep Brobbey until the end of the season, particularly if he remains an important player in their team.

If Sunderland do agree to discuss a transfer, they are likely to demand a substantial fee. Juventus would therefore need to decide whether Brobbey is worth a major investment while continuing to manage their existing attacking options.

The Bianconeri could still pursue the Dutchman, but much will depend on Sunderland’s willingness to sell. Spalletti’s approval has strengthened Juventus’ position internally, although reaching an agreement with the Premier League club may prove considerably more difficult.
