WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Lilywhites earlier today.
The 23-year-old Swedish international winger joined Spurs from OBOS Damallsvenskan club Hammarby IF back in the January 2024 transfer window. Vinberg has gone on to make well over 50 appearances for the North Londoners in all competitions. She was an Adobe Women’s FA Cup runner-up with the club in 2023/2024.
Vinberg has continued to develop at Spurs this season under new boss Martin Ho and she has lots to offer the club going forward. With Spurs planning to continue to climb the Barclays Women’s Super League table, the club have moved to tie down the player on a new long-term deal.
After signing on again with Spurs, Vinberg said “It feels amazing, obviously, I’m very happy here. It was an easy decision for me to extend my contract. Ever since I started my journey here at Spurs, I’ve had great support from the staff, the players are amazing, and I think we have a good potential to become a top team in the WSL.”
Spurs are next in action on Saturday evening when they contest a North London derby with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
