Killian Phillips opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a close-range finish, as St Mirren beat Falkirk 2-0 at the Falkirk Stadium. He now leads the Scottish Premiership scoring with two goals.

Phillips ghosted into the six-yard box to steer a cross into the bottom left (11.), settling the visitors early and shaping the game's tempo.

After the restart he stayed central to St Mirren's threat, slipping Jake Young in for a drive that was blocked (66.).

He then tried his luck from distance (74.) before sealing it with a composed right-footed finish from the centre of the box after a fast break (87.), this time fed by Roland Idowu.

The midfielder finished with five attempts, four on target, and three key passes, repeatedly finding pockets between the lines and attacking space in the area.
