José Sá set the tone in the seventh minute with a sharp low save, underpinning Wolverhampton Wanderers' 2-2 draw at Birmingham City.

He palmed Tomoki Iwata's skidding effort aside (7.), a first big intervention that steadied Wolves before the game swung back and forth.

After the restart, Sá got down to Liam Millar's angled strike (67.). He then sprang right to turn away Jay Stansfield's rising attempt from distance (75.), keeping Birmingham at arm's length as pressure built.

The late stand was his clearest imprint. In the fourth minute of second half stoppage time he tipped Marvin Ducksch's drive towards the top corner, then blocked Iwata at point blank range moments later.

Sá finished with six saves, three punches and two high claims, numbers that mattered with Birmingham slinging in 32 crosses. That command of his box kept Wolves composed and ensured the point.
