Stefanos Tzimas is back at work after a small setback in his recovery from a serious knee injury, but there is still no timeline for his return.
Albion head coach Fabian Hurzeler said the issue was minor, would take a little longer than first hoped, and that Tzimas is in good spirits, working hard on the pitch while staff support him off it, with hopes of seeing him soon.
The Greek striker has been sidelined since going down awkwardly on his first Premier League start at home to Aston Villa almost 10 months ago. It came three days after his first Premier League goal sealed victory at Nottingham Forest.
Tzimas and fellow striker Evan Ferguson remain long-term absentees for the Seagulls.
Young winger Zadok Yohanna will remain absent for the home game against Arsenal on Saturday, which takes Albion into the international break. The summer signing is being given time to build fitness at the training ground as he settles after his move from AIK in Sweden.
